The Backstory

For those of you who don't know, I'm a total HSN geek. In fact, chances are, if I'm infront of a tv, I'm watching HSN. This is where my story begins.

My mom received an email a few weeks ago from Purple Lab, a west coast cosmetics company that will soon be launching on HSN. The email went one to say that Purple Lab and HSN are searching for a model, and the winner of this contest would be flown to Florida, appear live on HSN, and would be instantly in the homes of millions of viewers.

I cannot begin to tell you how this is right up my alley. For starters, I'm in Public Relations. If I can't sell a product or convince an audience to agree with me, then my career may as well end before it even starts. Next, I've moved around my entire life so I have an ease when it comes to speaking to anybody. No one phases me. Really. Royalty, celebrities, world leaders, show hosts, children, animals. WHOEVER and WHATEVER, I can talk to. Then, the fact that makeup is involved? It's as though all the stars align to create this ideal and perfect experience for me.

So, that's where we are now. Voting ends on February 4, 2010, and right now, I'm in 2nd place. I'm looking for some support, and that's where I hope you come in. Please, vote frequently and often. Every vote counts, and that's the truth.
